Fibromyalgia
Magnetic Molecular Energizing (MME) has
been used effectively for Fibromyalgia.
MME treatment is considered
investigational and is utilized under the direction and auspices of an
Investigational Review Board (IRB). The IRB complies with FDA
requirements for investigational therapy usage and results review. MME
therapy is safe and non-invasive. In some cases, patients may experience
some tingling, however, most experience no ill effects and can talk,
sleep, read or watch TV.
Facts about Fibromyalgia
It
affects 3 – 6 million people in the U.S., 90% being women. It begins
in early to middle adult life. There is a familial predisposition and
if rheumatoid disease is present fibromyalgia is more likely.
- There are no known causes of fibromyalgia. There are many factors
that may contribute such as chemical changes in the brain, sleep
disturbances, injury to upper back, changes in muscle metabolism and
abnormalities of the autonomic nervous system.
- Some of the signs and symptoms are widespread pain with trigger
points, fatigue and sleep disturbances, irritable bowel syndrome,
headaches, facial pain, heightened sensitivity, depression and
anxiety.
Treatment and Case Results
Usually includes medication, nutritional therapy, trigger point
injections, acupuncture, psychiatric counseling, etc…
C.C. is a 63 year old man with a history of
fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. His symptoms included
fatigue, generalized and migratory muscle aches and reduced
concentration and focus. After 188 hours of MME, he reported
improvement in all symptoms and at 12 months states he still has some
chronic fatigue, but is pain free from the aches of fibromyalgia.
Although no absolute assurances can be
given, there is good reason for optimism for benefit, in individuals who
are accepted for treatment, after review and screening. MME appears to
enhance and speed the healing of tissues at the cellular and molecular
level.
