Diane A. Culik, M.D.

Dr. Culik received a BS from Michigan State University in 1972 and was in the Honors College. She graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1976. She completed her Residency Training in Family Medicine at St. John Hospital in Detroit in 1979 and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Culik worked as Associate Director and then Program Director and Vice Chairman of the Residency Program at St. John. She was also Board Certified in Geriatrics in 1988.

Dr. Culik has been in full time private practice in Eastpointe, Michigan since 1989. She has emphasized Prevention and Complementary Care in Practice and utilized Nutritionals, Herbals, Natural Progesterone, and Magnetics. She was Certified as a Magnetologist by the North American Academy of Magnetic Therapy in 2001. Dr. Culik serves on the American Academy of Family Physicians' Angoff Review Committee for Board Certification.



Anthony Halat, M.D.

Anthony Halat has been in private practice of Internal Medicine for the past 30 years. He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1970. Dr. Halat completed his internal medicine internship at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan in 1971 and then his residency in Internal Medicine at Detroit's Henry Ford Hospital between 1971-1973. Dr. Halat practices in Northern Oakland County and is associated with North Oakland Medical Centers- Pontiac General Hospital and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in 2002 has achieved Board Certification in the new specialty of Holistic Medicine.



Michael I. Opipari, D.O.

Dr. Opipari received a BA in Biology from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan in 1959. He then attended Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his DO degree in 1964. He completed a rotating internship and a three-year Internal Medicine residency in 1968 at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital. Dr. Opipari entered a post-residency fellowship in Medical Oncology, between 1968-1970, at Wayne State University, Detroit.

Dr. Opipari has practiced Medical Oncology since 1970. He has also served as Director, Medical Education and VP/Chief Medical Officer for Horizon Health System and most recently Director of Osteopathic Education and Medical Affairs for Henry Ford Health System. He has been actively involved at local and national levels in graduate medical education since 1980 and currently chairs the internship and residency accreditation activities for the American Osteopathic Association. He is a Professor of Medicine, Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine.



A. Ronald Rook, D.O.

Dr. Rook obtained his BS, Biology from St. Joseph's College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1962. He then attended and received his DO degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1968. Dr. Rook entered his rotating internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital in Detroit, Michigan between 1968-1973.

Dr. Rook has served as Chairman, Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Bi-County Community Hospital. He has also been the Residency Program Director for Orthopedic Surgery at Bi-County Community Hospital. Dr. Rook is a former Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine.


Ronald T. Rook, D.O.

Dr. Ronald T. Rook is a practicing Orthopedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and problems of the shoulder, elbow and knee. He practices surgical sports medicine with practices in Rochester and Warren, Michigan.

Dr. Rook received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and completed medical school at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. His internship/residency training was at Henry Ford/Bi-County Community Hospital.

Dr. Rook then completed a one year Sports Medicine shoulder and elbow fellowship in Jackson, Mississippi. His professional interest is in arthroscopy of the shoulder, elbow and knee. Currently he is one of the few physicians in the midwest performing completely arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs and shoulder ligament reconstructions.
